ABOUT PROJECT

Moving towards a circular society requires more than technological innovation or new business models. It calls for a fundamental shift in the way people think, learn, collaborate, and act. While the principles of the circular economy provide the foundation for reducing waste, extending product lifecycles, and using resourcesmore efficiently, a circular society places people at the centre of this transition. Education plays a key role in equipping individuals, communities, and institutions with the knowledge, competences, and mindset needed to turn circular principles into everyday practice.

The aim of the ACE-project is to support this transition by developing innovative educational approaches and practical learning resources for different target groups. The project follows both a train-the-trainer approach, enabling facilitators to design and implement learning activities on circular society, and acitizen-oriented approach, providing learners with the knowledge and competences to actively contribute to more sustainable and circular communities. Through the development of learning materials, practical tools, and examples of good practice, ACE promotes lifelong learning and empowers people across Europe to become active contributors to a resilient, inclusive, and resource-conscious society.
